Hello :)

       Hi everyone,

I wanna welcome you all to my blog, my name is Cris, I'm 28 years old from Timisoara Romania and I've decided to dedicate this blog to the beautiful city of Padua (Padova), a city that really impressed me, a city where I lived for one year having studied at the university there and having obtained my Masters Degree in Policies of the European Union from the same university.
My goal for this blog is to present you with a guide, based on my own experience, that will make your stay in Padua more enjoyable and to make sure that you visit everything worth seeing and don't miss out on any of the city's attractions.
Having lived in Padua for one year I got to know the city and its surrounding area pretty well, I had enough time to visit all its attractions and also had the chance to visit other beautiful places in the Veneto Region like Venice, Vicenza, Bassano del Grappa, Verona, Lake Garda, Sottomarina Beach, Lido di Jesolo Beach and many others, all of which will be presented to you with detailed descriptions and pictures in my future posts.
I would also like to dedicate this blog to the students at the University of Michigan-Dearborn who are enlisted in the exchange program with the University of Padua and who will spend 3 - 4 months in Padua studying Marketing and Organizational Behavior. For them this blog really is the Holy Grail of information on their stay in Padua, for I will give them inside information on everything from the apartment building they'll be living in, where to go party, where to get a really tasty pizza, how to get a cheap bicycle (the best way to get around Padua as a student) and many other extremely useful info. I will be doing this on my blog because I already acted as a guide for 2 groups of students from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and for a group of students from the University of Washington, during my stay in Padua and I really enjoyed it :). All I can say is that I made their stay way easier and more enjoyable by sharing with them my experiences of Padua and Italy in general.
I think this sums up the introduction to my blog, I hope you enjoy it and find useful information regarding Veneto Region in general and Padua and its region in particular.
